Always unpublish customization projects before upgrading.

Note that the following action should be taken before the upgrade:

- If in the earlier versions, you have customization projects that add new system objects, such as generic inquiries and forms, read <a href="https://community.acumatica.com/upgrade-220/after-an-upgrade-to-acumatica-erp-2024-r1-and-later-major-versions-users-could-lose-access-to-custom-generic-inquiries-and-forms-due-to-changes-in-the-logic-of-setting-restriction-levels-for-system-objects-24579" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">this article</a> before the upgrade.

Before you upgrade Acumatica ERP from older versions, read the following documentation:
